I started writing in 2023 while travelling by train from Madrid to Sarria, just before walking the Camino de Santiago. What began as daydreaming soon became storytelling, and storytelling became one of the great joys of my life.

Embers in Hollowmere is my fifth completed book, but the first I’ve chosen to share. The earlier manuscripts remain unpublished, but they were part of learning the craft, finding my voice, and discovering what could happen when I stopped trying to control every thought and simply surrendered to imagination.

For a long time, writing belonged only to me—a private place of wonder, escape, and discovery. Letting this book step into the world feels exciting, vulnerable, and deeply meaningful. I’m still learning, still growing, and still grateful for every moment I get to spend following a story where it wants to lead me.
